Rave Review
As you'll read in the review, Brandi has come to me once a year for the past 3 years. I first met Brandi in 2010 when I had a vendor table at a charity event hosted by Divas Dancing for Divas, an event where teams of women gathered to compete for best chair dancing, best wardrobe and then together for the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest group participating in a chair dance. I remember what she wore that day because she made such a fun impression. She and her husband both stopped by my table and chatted for a moment and by the end of the event Brandi said "I'm going to do this!" A year passed and I bumped into Brandi and her husband at the same charity event and she swore to me even more emphatically "I'm going to do this!!"
It wasn't until the following year that she booked her session.
What was the delay? Nerves I would guess. I think we run the gamut on why we shouldn't but I believe in my heart that it all boils down to nerves and the building of confidence. I get it. It's why I put myself in front of the camera once a year, it's a good reminder that this can often create a blend of anxiety and excitement, sometimes more anxiety than excitement.
Session one. Circa 2012. Armed with more outfits and shoes than could be shot in a week, Brandi was absolutely stunning!
Session two. Circa 2013. You may recognize a few of these from my portfolio.
Session three. Circa 2014. This time armed with a suitcase of shoes and one very cute man-cessory. Shot on the eve of their 22nd wedding anniversary, She thinks that her trilogy is complete, I'll bet her story will have as many sequels as Star Wars! ;)
